This concept is inspired by the following text, "Tihe mauri ora, ki te whaiao, ki Te Ao Marama. The breath,
the energy of life to the downright, to the world of light."
At the heart of this concept is the half circle, a timeless symbol of connection, unity, and balance. The half circle represents the cyclical nature of life and the harmony between feminine and masculine energies. The half circle is made up of two patterns, the whakarare and the taki toru. The inner whakarare pattern represents connection and the flow of energies. The outer taki toru pattern speaks to the connection and affection between people. The niho notches within the taki toru pattern signify strength.
The earthy colour palette represents the connection between te taiao and people.
