This tohu draws inspiration from Tahitian tifaifai patterns, symbolising a profound connection to Tupaia. Its circular design pays tribute to the traditional voyaging compass. The tohu takes on an almost feather-like or wing-like appearance, a nod to its association with the frigate bird and its significance to navigators throughout the Pacific region.
